Zoo Boo!
Tonight we went to Mongolian BBQ and Zoo Boo with Nick's BFF and her family. Nick had a blast at both!

Halloween Crafts!
Nick is running a fever so we are home today. I decided we should do some cooking and Halloween crafting! We just made these milk jug ghosts and we're roasting a butternut squash for soup. I drew the ghost faces, then Nick added his own touches to them :) We also carved our pumpkins! Gotta try and keep Nick as busy as Ms. Amber does, but still give him plenty of rest :)

Brunch!
My friend Lauren recently got an amazing new job and is moving to Traverse City. We went to her house for a moving away brunch. Funny how Nick is always drawn to UM fans, isn't it? :)

Playscape!
Tonight we cleaned off and started putting together Nick's new playscape. He was so excited he started playing with the separate pieces. Should be able to finish it up tomorrow!

"New" Playhouse!
We got an AWESOME deal this week on a Little Tikes 2 slide playscape and this Little Tikes playhouse! Nick was thrilled to wake up Thursday morning and see this house on our patio. He couldn't wait to play in it - but today was the first day he could because we've had so much rain lately. The family who sold it to us gave us a great deal PLUS delivered the house since only the playscape could fit in Jeff's dad's minivan. We also discovered the father is a soldier who will be returning to Iraq in a few months. We felt compelled to do something to thank their family besides give them the purchase price, so we made a donation in their honor to the Wounded Warrior organization and I am going to have Nick make a thank you note for them, plus we will pay their kindness forward when we re-sell these items. We are so lucky to always encounter such kind and generous people!
