Fall Day At The Park!

Today we took Nick to the park by Mill Race Village in downtown Northville. It has a nice big playscape and there were lots of other families out enjoying the beautiful fall day! We met Nick's BFF Ian and his mom at the park.

After Ian and his mom left, we took a family stroll to Starbucks and then walked around Mill Race. We discovered a beautiful pond/small lake in the back, with a waterfall and lovely old trees around it. Gorgeous scene!! We also found a giant spinning rock outdoor art display - very interesting. We are loving our "new" community!

Nick's Friend Oliver Turns 1!

Today we went to Nick's friend Oliver's first birthday party! We had a ton of fun and Oliver's parents have a very lovely home :) We enjoyed meeting their families and friends and Nick had so much fun playing with Oliver. He did not have so much fun with the Mickey Mouse ears, however :)

The Wolverines are 2-0 when Nick attends their game :) This is me, Aunt Krystyn and cutie Nick at the UM v UConn game. He lasted in the Stadium until the bands started playing - we spent the rest of the game on the concourse and in Crisler Arena :) Still had fun! Go Blue!
